Passive classes

In the Passive Classes Portal we provide you with detailed and up-to-date information on the different types of benefits we manage:

  • Pensions of the State Passive Class Scheme
  • Pensions from special legislation arising from the civil war
  • Support for victims of violent crime and sexual freedom
  • Advances from the Food Guarantee Fund

Here you will be able to obtain the forms for applying for such benefits; to know the regulations governing them, as well as the administrative procedure followed for their recognition or to calculate the amount of their future pension, if you are an official close to retirement or retirement.

News

  • Entry into force on 1 April of ACTIVE RETIREMENT, regulated by Royal Decree-Law 11/2024 of 23 December, for improving the compatibility of retirement pensions with work.

    For pensions caused before 1 April 2025: the same regulatory framework for compatibility remains in force until the end of the activity. If he commences a new activity, he will be in accordance with that new rule, except for the requirement to delay retirement by one year.

    If you belong to a group whose own regulations do not allow voluntary extension in active service and enter retirement/retirement after 1 April 2025, you will be able to take up active retirement provided that you request from the outset the suspension of recovery of your pension during the one-year period. Period during which you may be employed, and after one year has elapsed after you have reached the age of 65 or 70, you will be eligible for active retirement under the terms laid down.

    CLARIFICATIONS ON ACTIVE RETIREMEN

  • The IRPF 2024 retention certificate has been made available to pensioners at Electronic Passive Class Headquarters (https://clasespasivas.gob.es). It will also be received by post.
  • The Passive Class Consultation Mailbox, which is accessible from the "Services" section of this Portal, has been integrated with the Social Security Mailbox. For any consultation related to Passive Classes, within the form, you must choose as Subject of the consultation: Passive Class Scheme.
  • The Public Service Office of Passive Classes, located in Avenida General Perón, 38, in Madrid, is open from 9 to 15 hours. It will be provided exclusively by prior appointment, which can be requested by accessing the “Services” section of this portal.
  • For any consultation, the information telephone 900503055 is available from 9 to 15 hours and the Consultation Box is listed in the "Services" section of this Portal.
  • In the Passive Classes of the Electronic Social Security Office (https://sede.seg-social.gob.es) citizens, on their own behalf or through their representatives, can carry out electronically the management of certain procedures related to the pensions and benefits of Passive Classes. Electronic certificate, electronic ID card or Cl@ve are required to carry out these tasks.
  • Law 31/2022 of 23 December on General State Budgets for 2023. Article 59.3:

    Amendment of Article 20 of Law 35/2006 in relation to the reduction applicable to labour returns (as regards the calculation of the retention base) and a paragraph 3 is introduced in D.A. 47th of the above-mentioned Act to provide that these normative amendments shall be applied for the calculation of the retention rate in relation to the performance of work that is satisfied from 1 February 2023, with the rate of retention applied in the month of January being regularised as appropriate.
